Beef Roast

Main Ingredients

2 kg Beef, topside/Silverside
60 g Braai Spice
250 mℓ (1 cup)Honey & Mustard Marinade
50 g Cranberry/Red currant jelly.

Method

1. Season the beef with  Braai Spice and leave to stand in the fridge for ± 10 minutes.

2. Preheat an oven to 180°C.

3. Whisk together the Honey & Mustard Marinade and cranberry/red currant jelly in a sauce pan to make a basting sauce. Bring to the boil and allow to simmer until the mixture has started to thicken. Remove from heat.

4. Baste the meat with the sauce before roasting for ± 90 minutes or until the meat is cooked. Baste occasionally during cooking.
